How many shows do you do a year?
A:
About 100
Q:
How many miles do you travel a year?
A:
About 100,000. We drive to about 2/3 of our shows in a Newmar Mountainaire Motor Home and fly to the rest.
Q:
How do you putt?
A:
I have leg braces. I lock them in place and with the help of crutches, I go on the green. I balance on one crutch and putt one-handed.
Q:
What about bunkers?
A:
Same technique as putting. However, if I am lazy, I send Benji Hogan in to get the ball. He is a great retriever.
Q:
How did you become disabled?
A:
34 years
ago I was driving an old 3 wheel golf cart and as I was going down a steep
hill the brakes failed and I was thrown out of the cart. I dislocated
a vertebrae which pinched my spinal cord.
Q:
What is the extent of your injuries?
A:
I am a T-12 paraplegic which means I have no movement or feeling below my waist.

What do you shoot?
A:
I normally play 9 holes and can almost always shoot under 40 for the 9 holes.

What is the lowest score you have ever shot for nine holes from your cart?
A:
32 and I won $18.00.

Have you ever had a hole in one?
A:
I have had 4. Two standing and two sitting.
Q:
Have you ever done your show with any famous people?
A:
I have been lucky enough to perform with Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Chi Chi, and many other famous golfers. For the past three years, Benji Hogan and I have done 30 clinics with Tiger Woods.

Do you help others who have disabilities play golf?
A:
Yes. I get letters from people all over the world who would like to play golf as I do. I am on the board of 3 major organizations that are designed to help the disabled play golf. Any one needing help in this area, please contact me.

How long does your show last?
A:
The show usually lasts about 1 hour, but can be modified to fit any event.
