Our 36th National Tour begins!

t is my intention to give you an inside look at our national tour and I will be making regular contributions to this space, so be sure and come back often for the latest news. Since every day is different, I don't think I will lack for material and I hope you find this back stage look appealing.

Our 36th national tour got off to an unusual start as our Newmar Motorhome arrived just in the nick of time. Our great friends at Newmar always prepare our coach for the national tour and luckily they found some important issues that needed to be fixed. We are very grateful for their support and their expertise. Thanks to Dick Parks, Mathew Miller, Jonas Gingerich and all the staff that made it possible. We have to pack for a 5 month road trip and believe it or not this was accomplished in 4 hours. It normally takes 2 days, but with the help of my great assistant, Asher Grogg (More about him at a later date) and some friends we set out from Jupiter, Fl to Olney Md. Asher made the 1000 mile trip safely and we had a great day with Jim Estes and The Salute Military Golf Association. The SMGA helps wounded soldiers use golf as a rehabilitative tool and they do fantastic work. Jim is a leader in this area and is to be commended for his outstanding work. We met many true heroes and it was an honor and a privilege to perform for this group. Our next stop was a short distance away in Rockville Md where our show was an outgrowth of The area wide junior clinics conducted by THE PGA TOUR and their TPC courses. Jay Dufty Head Professional at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farms was host at the event held at Needwood GC. A crowd of about 400 folks came out and a great time was had by all. We then headed to the Dulles Airport and a flight to California for The Jelly Belly Invitational our sweetest stop of the year.

Details to follow, see you next time.
